The Aguadulce promenade is a vibrant and modern thoroughfare that stretches uninterruptibly along the entire Agua Dulce beach by the sea, connecting the marina with the bustle of the town’s main beach. This promenade is much more than just a path.
It is the soul of the town, a meeting point for locals and visitors alike. Overlooking the Mediterranean, this two-kilometer path is the ideal place to enjoy a walk, a hiking trail or a bike ride. Additionally, it’s the perfect spot to sit on one of its benches and contemplate the beach views, which often include the silhouette of Almeria Bay on clear days or observe the vastness of the Roquetas de Mar coastline with the town in the background. A reflection of the coast’s relaxed and sporty lifestyle.
Extended in 2010, along this promenade, you’ll find a huge number of bars, restaurants, and ice cream parlors that allow you to enjoy local gastronomy and sample roquetero’s dishes such as fideus aparate, migas, dried fish or seafood rice. It also features local shops or businesses where you can do some shopping or delight in homemade sweets like Indalotes, a space designed for leisure and enjoyment.
